I have a website with YetAnotherForum. My problem is that I have multiple developers running instances on their machines. The way the forum is built now this seems to affect the forum in the way that if somebody watches a thread 2-3 mails are sent out each time. This is the only reason I can think of. I think it would be good if there was some kind of locking mechanism to first check messages to send, mark in database, and then send or even better - send the message right away from the server instead of using thread (maybe there is an option for that)?
