We started using YAF and like it.

Does anyone know of any custom modifications, to enhance the Shoutbox?

Some examples would be:

. an audible ding when some one posts a message.

. different colors for each user.

. Adding new lines to the bottom of the box, rather than the top.

Note: Nothing showed up searching this forum for shoutbox mods,

except the last one for an IP located at 50.x.x.x; which anti-virus

reports as being a malware site. (I'd prefer to skip that mod :)

The audible ding would be very obnoxious, lol. I am referring to my application of the Shoutbox which is chat during Packers games. I am sure how you would apply it would be more gooder. A toggle to turn on/off the ding would be neat.

Different colors for each user, as in alternating row colors or the username or the whole shabang?
