Is it possible to change the default method in which YAF parses urls in forum posts? At present, it is defaulting to open the link on the same page which means the reader is navigating away from our site every time they click a link. We'd prefer that the default target to be New Window.

Is that possible? And if so, where can it be configured?

Yes, you have to look in the settings to enable it.

Host Settings > Display tab > Show Links in New Window:

This probably isn't required, but do an Application Restart after saving the change.

If your links are still not opening in a new Tab or new Window, then your browser is overriding the website setting.
