With the new version 2.1.2 we can ban IP's, Emails and usernames. If we're using the stopspam feature at registration time, what benefit does it have to import the emails IP's and usernames? The block at registration time should be more up to date than having to import/update the email IP username list, right?

I am asking because I have two spam accounts and want to start using the new spam protection stuff instead of my previous setup which forced users to post in a section before gaining access to the entire site. And I wanna do it the right way lol

- you have full control over the data

- you can ban not only specific email addresses but also whole email domains

But you are right if you want to use the StopForumSpam service you don't need to import the lists.
