Use : DNN7.2.0, YAF2.0

Host granted YAF Administrator role to a registered user that we will name here Toto. So Host is seeing Toto with all rights checked inside "Admin Page Access" menu.

However, after that, when Toto is reconnecting, he is not forum admin... ; Host can then confirm, from "Admin Page Access" menu, that Toto lost admin rights (name Toto has disappeared) ! 😞

I also observed that, if Toto is dnn yaf module Administrator, he didn't loose yaf admin rights when connecting.

Did you confirm this behavior, is it normal ? I think no because, in my case, i would like Toto can admin YAF without manage its module container. :?

Yes, because the dnn roles are synced with the yaf roles.

As workaround you could create a new Role in dnn "YAFAdmins" and assign the user toto with that role in dnn. It will automatically added as role in yaf, or you can also create it manually there. Once both roles in yaf and dnn are created. You gave that role admin permissions in yaf, and assign the admin access masks for each forum.

That workaround would give the user admin permission in YAF only.
