The beauty of DNN is that you can have multiple domains/websites (portals) running independently from each other within one installation/DB/file system.

How do I make YAF act as the other DNN modules so I can use it on multiple portals without interfering with each other?

Right now when I sync the users on a YAF board it syncs ALL users from ALL DNN portals which doesn't make any sense! The whole point of having separate portals/boards is to not mingle them all together, no?

Also there's a Host link on the first board I created but not on the others so I can't customize settings for my boards.. yes the 'Host user' box is checked under settings and the user has admin rights in DNN.

How can I fix these issues and have fully functioning, separate boards for my different portals?

I like YAF very much and need to get this work as there are no real alternatives out there.. DNN Corp shut down dnnforum and Active Forums is also stopped being developed and not nearly as professional as YAF anyways.

Please help!

Thanks in advance,

Rob

How did you sync the users? This issue could only happen if you pressed "sync all membership users" Button under YAF -> Admin -> Users.

I disable that button in the future to prevent that issue. To import users please use the user importer from the yaf module.

Thanks, I'll do that in the future.

Yeah, I used the "sync all membership users".. is there a way to bulk delete all those synced users?

Any idea on how to get a Host link for my secondary boards?

'Host Admin' box is checked under settings and the user has admin rights in DNN.

I appreciate your help very much Watcha!
