problem with YAF new registrations and moderators

Hi,

Im using 1.9.6. When new users register. They automatically have moderator priveliges, which is really worrying for me. So as a new user comes on I have to quickly change them to standard members. Does anyone have any idea about this? When logged in as admin. The left menu is Admin, Host, Moderate. For every other user type the first two are hidden. Moderate is always displayed even for standard members. Should this be the case?

I'd check into your Roles and Access Masks. You might have one set to moderator upon registration ...

You have the Registered Mask/Role assigned to Moderator on your forum.

Moderator has Is Start set to yes. I have taken that off. I reckon that was the problem. Will test tomorrow. Thanks again for your help Zero2Cool.
