Greetings from Finland (where not long ago it was still light at this hour, but now it is darker than black)

I'm a 21 year old kid, I love music and photography, and photograph enthusiastically on film myself.

I also like black coffee, dark beer, being alone (but not lonely), and rain. At the end of this month I'll begin studying media technologies.

I've mostly been a pretty casual linux user, despite having one distro or another on my laptop for a long time. I'm not afraid to get down on problems and actually like to learn things, but somehow I haven't been able to learn or understand that much about linux, except for the basics. I'd like to blame the way things have often been put in any guides or help topics I've ever read - most of the time they just come off as "look, moron, just type this in the terminal".

Anyways. I usually have crunchbang installed, and I thought I'd try something else for a change. And ended up with archbang, which I have been curious about for a while already. Seems like it's not something to just "try out" though...

But I figured, maybe I ought to just try and learn some of this stuff for a change, even if it might be a little bit of a big bite for me. I'll be trying to search and learn as much as possible, but if I get stumped, please try to bear with my stupid questions, I am a quick learner.
