How to create a link in a post which is opened in a separate window?

By default, a link created with the url tag is opened in the same window (tab). Is there any additional syntax we can use to open the link in another window/tab?

There is an option in the Host -> Host Settings -> Display -> Show Links in New Window (If this is checked, links in messages will open in a new window).

But this would open all links in a new Window, if you want to do it only for specific links you need to create an additional BBCode for that as BB Code Exension.

Or you use the Modal BB Code Version where all links open in an Modal Dialog.

I'm a newbie if we talk about creating custom BB codes. Can you give me some examples?

I'd like to have the ability to open just some links in a new window, but not all on the forum.
