I am a NOOB when it comes to databases and configuring website. I chose a host because they claimed that they guarantee 100% compatibility with YAF, and even offer support with installing it. Arvixe.com.... Come to find out that they only will help with the windows platform installer.... that much I can figure out on my own. What I am having problems with is installing the latest version so I can use the newest features. Any kind souls out there that can help me out for a few moment and help me get this going properly? I would be forever greatful. Everything is prepped and ready to go... just need some hand holding when it comes to creating the DB, and the link to the DB.

I was able to get 1.9.5 installed on my own... working on upgrading to 1.9.6.1

I have followed the directions to the T up until the last "Chage the Line from..."

So... Do i leave out the preCondition part or do I add it to the new web.config?
