For no reason in particular, much of my forum (1.96) has no functionality -- like when you register, or when you're an admin, when you edit a user's profile, or click on a user's name, it times out -- ALWAYS. I don't know where the problem is; the only file I edited was english.xml and I downloaded a fresh version identical to the one I was using. Is my webhost, discountasp.net, a web farm or cluster? I just don't know what other file it could be, although this just stopped working for no reason and I never altered my web.config.
After my webhost, discountasp.net, told me they recycled web service for my account, I regenerated machine keys. But this time, instead of using http://aspnetresources.com/tools/machineKey , I used IIS7 and generated my own machine keys.
I've attached my web.config file. If anybody could take the time to check it out and figure out if something is wrong with it, I'd really appreciate it! I did change the numbers in my keys in the attached file for safety purposes, not because I distrust Jaben, Watcha, and all the other good people here. This has been the most frustrating one I've ever had. Thanks for any help you can offer!
Just in case, here's the error I always get:
