I'm trying to intergrate YAF 1.9.5.5 RTW into an EPiServer CMS 6 R2 site using Active Directory Authentication, but I'm running into a few issues.

Installation goes fine, and I can see the forum on my site, but whenever I'm trying to create a new topic I get the "Error" modal dialog. And here's the kicker, I get NOTHING in the Event Log for this error, I get errors in the event log for other things, like errors in my custom MembershipProvider etc, but nothing when trying to post.

Any ideas?

After a lot of digging, I've found that the error occurs because YAF thinks that the topic message is empty. It adds a message to the current PageContext.LoadMessage, but that message is never shown anywhere. The title and description fields retain their values after post back, and I can view them in the request collection.

Has anyone got any ideas on why this could be happening?

I've also found that the try/catch block in YAF.Editors.RichClassEditor always catches exceptions for CKEditor in varying versions, Telerik RAD Controls, and twice for FreeTextBox. To me this is funny, because I've explicitly set my forum to use TinyMCE HTML as editor.

Please help me out here, I'm getting nowhere.
