I'm using 1.96.

I put "no access" in my roles for the GM forum for a user from Ford, Jim. But when I log into Jim's user's ID, he still has access to the GM forum.

Does anyone have any suggestions? What am I doing wrong?

Is the User only in one role? Take a look at the User in which roles he is in and make sure that all roles have the no access mask assigned

Watcha, what do I do? For instance, jsexsmith .... I don't want him to be able to access GM. But do I click masks, or roles, or users / jsexsmith?

Then you need to check the access masks for the particularly forum (Go to Admin -> Settings -> Forums -> Click on Edit on the desired forum, in your case gm -> On the Bottom you see Area where you can see all Roles of Board and which access mask are assigned to the roles for that forum "GM". So all the Roles the user is in you need to assign the "No Access" Access Mask)
