If you have admin privlages to a forum (ie your admin access mask) then when you create "new topic" then the option to make it a sticky comes up under the topic line

as for locking the topic a button comes up giving you the option, teh button is betwen delete topic and move topic

Hi Pro Logic,

I also have this problem and I can't find the sticky option anywhere. I am Host admin and the version of YAF is 1.9.5.5

HA! I can't figure this out either and I've written code mods for this. I'm logged in as an administrator. Where do I change the message priority for a message?

I figured out how to do this via TSQL. I can't figure out how to do this via the UI.

I am sure I will figure this out before this question is answered. I am posting this because I vote that we make this much more intuitive. Put it somewhere visible when.

Wow! I just spent 5 more minutes and I CAN NOT FIND THIS. Sheesh! It would have been faster for me to modify the postmessage.ascx.

YES!!!!! I found it!:cheesy:

When you click Edit Post the Priority field is two fields under the Subject and right above the WYSIWYG buttons like Bold, Italic and Underline.

I do understand that as a programmer I should now snicker at anyone asking the same question and think "What an idiot!" I should then post a reply like "Dude, just change the message priority." the next time someone asks this question.:? Then I should ignore this topic altogether and when I see a new post I should be disgusted with my fellow human and spend the next hour berating them in my head.

I can't do that, it is the same mentality that brought us healthcare.gov. Let's see if we can't get this change in an upcoming build.

Thanks!:-d
