In Admin under Host Admin Settings, what does Sort Order mean and how would changing it impact the forum

Under Administration>Host Settings>

There is a list of settings the user can change including SortOrder caption reads (sort order under this category) and you can enter a number between 0-255

I guess the setting you mean is not under Host Settings its on the Edit forum page? The sort order defines in which order the categories and the (sub)forums appears in the forum listing.
