Multi Message (Delete)

Concept: Delete several messages in a topic in one shot.

Implementation: While viewing a topic, display "Delete" button.

When "Delete" button clicked it will display a checkbox before each message.

Admin/Moderator checks one or several messages and clicks "Delete" and messages removed.

Multi Message (Split)

Concept: Split several messages into a new topic.

Implementation: While viewing a topic, display "Split" button.

When "Split" button clicked it will display a checkbox before each message and a text field for the new topic.

Admin/Moderator checks one or several messages and clicks "Split" (or "Submit" ) and messages are split into the new topic within the same forum.

Multi Topic (Move) *

Concept: Move several topics from one forum to another.

Implementation: While viewing forum, display "Move" button alongside existing "Delete" button.

When "Move" button clicked it will display a checkbox before each topic in forum and drop down menu of forums for topics to be relocated to.

Admin/Moderator checks one or several topics, selects new forum location and submits change.

Multi Topic (Merge) *

Concept: Merge several topics into one topic.

Implementation: While viewing forum, display "Merge" button alongside existing "Delete" button.

When "Merge" button clicked it will display a checkbox before each topic in forum and a text field for the existing TopicID for the topics to be merged into.

Admin/Moderator checks one or several topics, enters TopicID and submits change.

* Maybe have "Moderate" button replace "Delete" button while viewing a forum. Then when clicked the other options of "Delete", "Move", and "Merge" are available?
