The ADS feature that we already have is nice, but it's static. What if we use an AdRotator control for that purpose? It's not a big deal to add it and make the Ads switchable from static how it is now to AdRotator control. If the admins don't want/like it, then it should be disabled and made hidden. But I see it a very easy to implement and very convenient and powerful feature. That will make the Ads on the forum much more efficient. And we all will be able to play with them as we wish, the ads will be automatically changing according to their priority, the number of ads can be unlimited, etc.

We all can accept some default settings of this control, say, to make it simple, the Ads XML file should be located in some subdirectory called Ads, etc. The forum should have a blank XML file in this directory so the new admins will know what and how to add to this file.

Btw, the default ads, just an example (!) can show YAF web site and banner. it's just an idea... 🙂

Correct me please if I'm wrong, but we cannot use this feature now. All we got is the static field to insert our ads.
