Do we have anything on the database preventing it from Shrink? I tried and it failed with some MS error telling about serialization and encryption. I can attach the screen show here if required.

What tables are involved when we refresh the forum page clicking on the Forum link on the main page? When I do that it gives me a terrible delay up to 20 seconds and even longer, while other pages are ok. Do we need to add some indexes? If so then to what tables and columns?

And the interesting fact is - sometimes it works just perfectly. I guess when SQL Server is not so busy, but in the worst periods the refreah takes up to 27 seconds.
