i filled in my blog url in my forum profile.. i click post to blog in a new post. .and enter my pw.. but where do i put my username to go with that pw?

i do not see it in my blog after i click post

what am i doin wrong?

I was hoping this feature would indicate the initial post in a thread as a Blog post and I'd be able to write a module that would grab say Top 5 posts flagged as Blog in posted descending order and post them on my sites front page... but

I haven't figure out how to use this feature on any level at all.
