Guys, here are a couple of proposals.

1. When I decided to add a lot of different Categories, Forums, and Sub-Forums I found that the way it's done is very inconvenient. It's acceptable, but could be done much better. First, numeration is a good feature, but can be automated. For example, I wanted to add all the countries divided into different continent based groups. After I added the part of them I decided to correct the order. Luckily me, I was counting them using 100 as a step, liek 100, 200, 300, etc. So it was very easy to insert a new one inside the existing list. But what I'd liek to see is to be able to automatically renumber the whole list of Categories, then separately Forums and separately Sub-Forums. Say, I want to start with 100 and use the 100-based step. So I set two parameters in the dialog box and that's done, all the items are reordered by the alphabet and the ranks are reassigned. Same for Forums. Or it can be done using recurse, say, I want to reorder the whole tree like:

100

100

200

300

200

100

200

300

400

500

300

100

200

300

400

100

200

I guess the idea is simple.

Thanks,

Dimi

2. When I open Admin=>Forums I see a very long list. Why don't we collapse this list to show only Categories and the required Forums? We can collapse this list automatically to the first, second, or third level, etc. Or we can do that manually and, as an additional feature, the list, when we create a new Forum and assign it to the appropriate location Category/Forum, can be shortened as well. We know in advance what tree we're workign with. So the other trees can temporarily disappear. Is it a good idea?

Thanks,

Dimi
