I installed YAF v1.9.4 with a new database, and it worked fine in both cases (when YAF is the application, and when embedding it to an existing website).

The problem is:

When i try to install it inside another website and with another database, this exception occurs: "Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types." when i click "Next" in the wizard step: "Initialize/Upgrade Database".

i.e., it cannot upgrade the database.

Note: this database contains the membership, profile, users, ... tables (and all the tables and stored procedures created by the SQL provider,,, and also i needed before to modify some of those tables and stored procedures)

Could anyone help me to upgrade the database, or to know what's wrong ??

Actually i didn't know the problem reason. But it worked fine by creating all the data, tables, views, and stored procedures manually in this database (which cannot be upgraded) using a script i created from the old database which YAF installed and worked before with it (i.e., i didn't install the forum, i just used it as control in my website because it found the database ready to use :wink: ).

I have another question:

how can i remove the "Register" item from the top menu ?? and also how to remove "This page was generated in '#' seconds." under the copyright ??

I am using "YAF-v1.9.4-FINAL-BIN" in my website.

In the main forum page (Board page), the "Forum" box header isn't has any theme, it just appears with white background and black text (e.g., the text should be in white color and the background of the header should be in gray such as the other boxes or panels).

Also, i traced the CSS of the page using FireBug and found that: in the html, the class "header1 headerForum" is called but the CSS doesn't contain the "header1" class. (but in the "YAF Pro" Theme, it worked perfectly and the "header1" class is found in the CSS in FireBug)

Is this problem with me only or what ??
