being used to other bulletin board systems i am currently missing two features in YAF.net:

* a flat list of all new posts since last logon sorted by post-date.

i know that there is a function "active topics" / my topics - but that is not quite what i expect (because it is grouped by forums rather than listing the latest posts by descending date). but as a newbie maybe i just missed that common feature 😕

* the feature to manually approve/verify new users

when new users do register they are automatically added to the "startup" groups. is it somehow possible to verify users and activate them manually before they can login?
