My thoughts about the Album feature.

- The albums should also have their access / role settings. Who will see the albums etc etc. I must say here that i haven't find a way to show to Guests the user Albums !!

- Some kind of counter of what photos are viewed would be nice. Top 20 or something would be nice.

- Short photo description MAYBE taken from a "long" photo name ?

In general i like that module.

I'll try to implement them.

I'll make a new topic to write down Albums road map soon.

Also the albums need to have their own resize / max size options, because right now they use the Attachments settings ?

Currently you can set the Max. File Size for an Album Image (Host Settings->Features->Albums). The Size of the Images are Unlimited.

I don't think so.

For me, the Albums uploads are also resized using the attachement resize size.

I wish i could also show what i mean BUT for some reason (still unexplained here) i can't make an Album available for Guests.

Yep, that is a bug (as I see it)

I have a dutch forum (http://www.globalcaching.nl/forum/) and is in Dutch normally. However, people can select the language they like. I have some users that has another language than Dutch. When they post, you get a notification in THEIR language instead of your selected language.

Literally speaking, you're talking about two different "Sizes".

tha_watcha meant your file size in kilobytes, you meant image size in pixels.

Yes, you can set the file size for albums, and Not yet, You cannot set the image size independently from image attachments yet.

Well i wrote initially "Also the albums need to have their own resize" so i'm clearly speaking of the Image Size in width etc.

I would also like to add something.

In the Add/Delete page of an album, it is IMPOSSIBLE to know what image to delete just from the name. A thumbnail near the name is a must.
