Nice but consider better performance (1.582 Seconds for about 300 posts!)

forum.zazzle.com  - about 350k posts.

Just added forum.zazzle.co.jp  to the system, too. If you want to see an example of i18n.

Great site. Was curious about one feature. Zazzle employees' posts have different background in userbox and posted message. How did you do it? Have you done it by modifying the source or is it possible from admin panel/modifying themes/adding js/etc?
If at first you don’t succeed, call it version 1.0

The source was modified in several ways.
1. A new authentication module was added to allow regular Zazzle accounts to post.
2. The URL-rewriter was changed to use URL's with fewer Query-String parameters for SEO reasons.
3. The "Post" button was adjusted to link to the login page (for guests) in forums that allow user-posting but not guest posting.
4. The Search-mechanism was replaced with SOLR because the DB-search was too slow and had poor support for Japanese.
5. We removed some features that we were not interested in supporting (like user profiles).
6. The code was changed to add a style-class to posts that need special skinning (like employees and Professional Sellers).
