Hello all,

When "watching" a Forum/Topic and you receive an email with a link in it to that Topic or Forum, how is that URL built? In other words, where is it pulling the Domain name from? The problem I am running into is that the domain is there without the "www". Normally, this is not an issue but for some reason at my work location the URL will not work without the www. How can I make sure it always adds the www?

I look forward to hearing your replies.

Thank you,
Todd

URLBuilder.cs if not using url rewriting; URLRewriter.cs if using rewriting. Think is in the UTILs project. But I'm going from memory for both of these.

When I post FP:Mek in a topic, I'm leaving my footprint there so I can track it once I get into coding/supporting. (Yes I stole this off Ederon 🙂 )

I do not have those.
I see a file called UrlRewriter.config with a couple of lines like,

<rewrite url="^~/(.+)?yaf_postsm([0-9]+)(_([-a-z0-9]+))?\.aspx(\?(.+))?$" to="~/$1Default.aspx?g=posts&m=$2&$6" processing="stop" />

I am using version 1.9.1.8 on Go Daddy.

Where does it pull the domain name from?
