First of all, url rewriter didn't work, so I had to turn that off, or all pages except the main page returned 404.

Now the forum is running, but I have another issue. All the pages retain their old state until I hit F5.

Eg. if I go to the login page, enter my credentials, and click login, it returns me to the main page, however, the page looks like it did when I wasn't logged in, and I'm presented with the option to login or register. I have to hit F5, then it shows the new logged in state.

Same applies for everything. I create a new topic, then navigate to the forum I created it in, it's not there, until I hit F5.

What browsers have you tried?
Do you have this online for us to view?
Have you looked for any EventLog entries in the Host Settings?
Have you looked for any errors on the browser console? (F12)

http://forums.ragepluginhook.net

I've tried Chrome 43 and Internet Explorer 10. Same problem in both.
Nothing in the YAF logs, and browser doesn't report any errors.

Ajax features also doesn't seem to work. Are you using the default web.config?

I face exactly the same issue on my server. However, when I deploy YAF to another server, the forum runs smoothly. What should I do to trace this issue? Please help.

I assume this problems occurred with the latest release, and before that everything was ok?

My guess is that this is caused by the caching from the IIS.

Please try to remove all caching settings from the web.config

 <urlCompression doDynamicCompression="true" doStaticCompression="true" dynamicCompressionBeforeCache="true" />
    <staticContent>
      <clientCache cacheControlMaxAge="30.00:00:00" cacheControlMode="UseMaxAge" cacheControlCustom="" />

      <remove fileExtension=".js" />
      <mimeMap fileExtension=".js" mimeType="application/javascript; charset=UTF-8" />
      <remove fileExtension=".html" />
      <mimeMap fileExtension=".html" mimeType="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
      <remove fileExtension=".json" />
      <mimeMap fileExtension=".json" mimeType="application/json" />
	    <remove fileExtension=".ico" />
      <mimeMap fileExtension=".ico" mimeType="image/x-icon" />
    </staticContent>
		<caching>
