I cannot for the life of me get the Pager to work in either the PM section or the search results. For example, when I do a search like this it won't go to the next page, even if I manually put the page number in. I've tried replacing the control with the original sources from the 1.9.6.1 RTW to no avail.

Example: http://motorcycleroadracingforums.com/yaf_search.aspx?search=MotoGP

Thanks for any input.

It depends on what you have changed, it does work with the current version, also on that support forum.

You do know that custom builds are not supported, because we dont know what changes have been made.

On your page i receive an error message...

Uncaught Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled.
Details: Error parsing near '<table border="0" ce'.

Yes I'm aware of that but I haven't modified anything related to the PM section or the search section. Oddly it does work everywhere else, just not these areas. If you have a suggestion on where to look I can dig further myself. Most of the customizations I've done are graphical.

It only happens on the search and pm because it uses postbacks for the pager

Did you do some Response.Write i can see you injected this code above the header

<table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2" style="width:100%" id="tblMain" style="padding-bottom:0px;"><tr><td style="padding-top:15px;padding-left:10px;"><a href="/"><img src="mrrf_logo_rev1.png" alt="Motorcycle Road Racing Forums (MRRF)" title="Motorcycle Road Racing Forums (MRRF)" id="imgMRRF" style="border:0px;" /></a></td><td align="right" style="text-align:right;padding-right:10px;"><a href="http://www.paintbymoe.com/" id="bannerUrl" name="bannerUrl" target="_blank" title="Visit our sponsor"><img alt="Paint by Moe" title="Paint by Moe" src="images/paint_by_moe.png" class="imgBanner" style="border: 0; vertical-align:middle;" id="imgBanner" name="imgBanner" align="right" /></a></td></tr></table>

The error comes from that code. You should add the code correctly in to the default.aspx.

Once again you've figured out the issue for me. You were right, it was exactly that code. Thanks again watcha. 🙂
