I'd like to enable SSL for logging in and registering. When I enable the two options and login, I receive a permission denied error as expected. If I manually change the login URL to https, it works fine.

1. Can the login URL be overridden in web.config?

2. Is there a recommended procedure for changing the URL for these pages?

If I run the whole site under SSL, the login and register buttons work fine but I'd like the site to run in http and only the login and register pages to be in SSL.

I'm trying to avoid changing code as everything is fine straight out the box and I have a feeling I'm missing one of those tick-me gems you find after hours of searching.

EDIT: Forgot the version when asking a question - should read the rules. V1.9.4 Final

It's a bug. It was apparently introduced much time later after the feature was implemented. Check for https works but https in links is missing .
It requires a source code modification.
I can't fix it because it was changed by Jaben and I don't know what problem was fixed by this.

Sweet! Thanks for the quick reply. I can't seem to find the referenced bug/post but now I know, I'll be able to sort it out.

Forgot to say thanks heaps for YAF. It rocks!
