I would like to make some minor changes in UI like display less information or less topics per page etc. for very small devices, but for this I should know the screen width.

Question : Is there some api in YAF to know screen width in code-behind?

YAF is starting to use Bootstrap, so you can apply the hidden class elements to hide a div depending on resolution. You'll want to check the /controls for this and also /pages might have something too.

I think TopicLine control might be what you're seeking.

.And for bootstrap, this area should help you.
