This issue has been cleared up in the source code, but is not packaged yet in public release. But when we compiled the source as of 01-11-2012, the issue had been resolved and performance has been much better under high demand.

I have this 100% problem in 1.9.5.5 too.
Eagerly awaiting the 1.9.6 RC or final release...😄
