i gave up trying to figure out how to edit the nav bar, i went back to old school html code and added a generic nav bar on my site

if there's an easy way to edit the default nav bar, please educate me

YAF.Controls\Header.cs

But that requires recompiling. Another option is inheriting from "YAF.Controls.Header" and than specify the header in the YAF forum specification:

<YAF:Forum id="Forum1" runat="server" header="myHeader" />

But what you've done looks fine -- not sure what's so old school about HTML. Everything is HTML.

It's in the YAF.Controls project which is part of the compiled section of YAF and is in the SRC release.

i tried to figure it out with that info, but i give up. ill chalk it up to a feature request to give us an interface to add links to the nav bar.
