Hi i ham trying to install YAF in a folder of the root directory of my website called "forum"
I have uploaded all the files into this directory
I have copied the Bin and APP_code directories to the root of my website
I have copied the web.config file to the root of my website
I have ammended app.config to <add key="YAF.FileRoot" value="~/forum"/>

but nothing on my website now works i get error 500
MY isp has said

Your website shows Error500. I suggest you to check the codes in your Web.config file if it includes the following tags:
<httpHandlers> <httpModules>

If so, please comment those tags out in your script by starting the section with <!-- and ending the section with -->

Which i have done it still will not work

Help

HTTP-500 errors are usually displayed when servers are configured not to display 'full errors'. You will need to get the host to not display 'generic' errors. Then you will get the ASP.NET error. You will most likely have to turn off "Custom Errors" in your web.config as well to find out truly what is going wrong.

You're missing YAF.NET libraries in your root /bin directory.

I'm not actually seeing an error pointed out in the above code. We would need to see the full error response to help.
